Chapter 3.38 RCW is applicable to Columbia County, Washington, and the justice court districting committee shall become activated and shall meet at the call of the prosecuting attorney to prepare a plan for districting Columbia County, which plan shall be submitted to the board of county commissioners.
Any actual change in the justice court system is pending a public hearing to be called by this board of Columbia County commissioners to consider any proposed plan of the justice court district committee to establish a district court. [Res. 80-07.]
2.80.020 Courthouse hours.
A. The Columbia County Courthouse shall remain open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays and emergency closure;
B. At least one county office in the Columbia County Courthouse shall be open to the public during the above-prescribed operating hours; and
C. Department heads of the individual county and precinct offices are hereby authorized to close their office to the public for reason(s) of necessity, during the above-prescribed hours. [Res. 2000-05 §§ 1 – 3; Res. 85-07.]
