SPECIAL PURPOSE PATHS AND TRAILS FUND

3.110.010 Fund established.
RCW 47.30.050 requires that Columbia County shall expend in any one year not less than one-half of one percent of the total amount of funds received from the motor vehicle fund according to the provisions of RCW 46.68.100 for the purpose of planning, accommodating, establishing, and maintaining trails and paths facilities.
The Columbia County treasurer is directed to establish a special fund to be known as the special purpose paths and trails fund for the purpose of crediting those funds to be reserved for trails and paths facilities as described above, and to invest any balance of the fund in behalf of the special purpose paths and trails fund.
