10.24.010 Planting of trees or shrubs.

It is unlawful to plant or maintain any tree or shrub on or along any of the streets of the city, and especially that portion known as the “parking strip” or curbing; provided that this section shall not prohibit the planting and maintaining of low-growing flowers up to a height of eighteen inches and grass; provided further, that this section shall not apply to those trees planted on Columbia Avenue with the permission of the city council.
