11.08.010 School established.

The County of Cowlitz, State of Washington, pursuant to written agreements between the City of Kelso, State of Washington, and the City of Longview, State of Washington, shall hereafter operate a traffic school in accordance with Chapter 46.83 RCW. [Ord. dated 9-15-59, § I, 31 J 328.]

11.08.020 Purpose.

The purpose of the traffic school shall be to instruct, educate, and inform all persons appearing for training in the proper, lawful and safe operation of motor vehicles. [Ord. dated 9-15-59, § II, 31 J 328.]

11.08.030 Penalty for failure to attend.

Every person required to attend the traffic school shall maintain attendance in accordance with the orders or sentence of the Court. Failure so to do, unless for good cause shown by clear and convincing evidence*, shall be a misdemeanor and punishable as by law provided in addition to the imposition of any punishment suspended or deferred upon the original conviction.
