PRIVY VAULTS AND CESSPOOLS

7.12.020 Cleaning – Allowing to run over.
7.12.010 Compliance.
It is unlawful for any person, firm or corporation, either as owner, occupant, tenant, or as rental agent of the owner, of any premises in the city to allow, permit, maintain or have on any such premises, any cesspool or privy vault, except upon full and complete compliance with the terms of this chapter. (Ord. 179 § 1, 1914).
7.12.020 Cleaning – Allowing to run over.
All cesspools shall be thoroughly cleaned out as often as necessary for the protection and preservation of the public health, and shall never be permitted to fill up and run over. (Ord. 179 § 2, 1914).
7.12.030 Enforcement.
Violations of this chapter shall be handled in accordance with DMC Title 19. (Ord. 1143 § 2, 2019).
