Surcharge on Returned Checks

2.01.010 Imposed.
(a) An additional charge of as outlined in the fee schedule set forth in DMC 2.04.010 shall hereafter be made to any account owing to the City, payment of which is made by a check thereafter returned by the drawee bank by reason of insufficient funds.
(b) The surcharge provided for herein shall be in addition to any other legal remedy to which the City may be entitled. (Ord. 200 §§ 1, 2, Nov. 9th, 1977; Ord. 03-732 § 1; Ord. 03-737 § 1; Ord. 07-849 § 1).
