Payment of City Obligations

3.01.010 Form of payment.
Pursuant to RCW 35A.40.020, payment of claims or obligations of the City shall be by check. (Ord. 08-867 § 13).
3.01.020 Municipal expenditures.
(a) The Mayor is hereby authorized to expend such funds from municipal accounts that are required to pay necessary administrative expenses of the City.
(b) All records of municipal expenditures shall be open to public inspection at the City Hall during normal business hours. (Ord. 08-867 § 13).
3.01.030 Deposit of public funds.
The Finance Director shall designate a suitable bank or banks in Pierce County, Washington, as depository for public funds of the City, and shall secure from such depository evidence of compliance with the laws of the State of Washington governing depositories of public funds. (Ord. 08-867 § 13).
3.01.040 Naming employees authorized to sign.
The Mayor and the City Administrator, or such other officers or employees of the City as have been designated in writing by said Mayor and City Administrator, shall be the officers of the City authorized to sign City checks. (Ord. 08-867 § 13).
