There is established within the community development department the position of building official. Whenever a provision of the East Wenatchee Municipal Code refers to the “code compliance officer,” “building inspector,” or “enforcement officer,” any such reference shall hereafter refer to and mean the building official. 15.02.020 Duties.
The building official shall:
A. Enforce this title, with the exception of Chapter 15.16 EWMC, Fire Code, and is authorized to promulgate such rules, policies and/or procedures as may be deemed necessary to administer and enforce such regulations;
B. Carry out duties of this position as set forth by ordinances of the city; and
