9.08.010 Obstructing a public servant.

Any person who shall, in any statement or report given to a public servant, make a knowingly untrue statement or who shall knowingly hinder, delay or obstruct any public servant in the discharge of his or her official powers or duties shall be guilty of obstructing a public servant. 9.08.020 Resisting arrest.

Any person who intentionally prevents or attempts to prevent a peace officer from lawfully arresting him or her shall be guilty of resisting arrest. (Ord. 795 §1(B), 1985: Ord. 770 §4(B), 1984).

9.08.030 Escape from custody.

Any person who escapes from custody shall be guilty of the offense of escape. (Ord. 795 §1(C), 1985: Ord. 770 §4(C), 1984).

9.08.040 Intimidation of public servant.

Any person who by use of a threat attempts to influence a public servant’s vote, opinion, decision or other official action as a public servant shall be guilty of intimidating a public servant. For purposes of this section, the term "threat" shall be defined as provided in Section 9.04.380. (Ord. 795 §1(D), 1985: Ord. 770 §4(D), 1984).

9.08.050 Harming police dog.

Any person who wilfully injures, disables, shoots, or kills by any means whatsoever, any dog used by a peace officer in discharging or attempting to discharge any legal duty or power of that officer’s office shall be guilty of the offense of harming a police dog.
