CITY CLERK-TREASURER

2.05.010 Appointed.
The mayor shall appoint a city clerk-treasurer, whose duties are defined in RCW Title 35A, and more specifically defined in RCW 35.27.220, 35.27.230, 35.27.310, 35.27.320 and 35.27.340. (Ord. 634, 2005; Ord. 48 §§ 1, 2, 1949; Ord. 1 § 1, 1944)
2.05.020 Duration of office.
The city clerk-treasurer, as an appointed position, shall serve an indefinite appointment until removed, whether the removal is at the discretion of the mayor, whether removal for cause is required, or whether the city clerk-treasurer resigns such position. (Ord. 634, 2005; Ord. 1 § 2, 1944)
