10.30.010 Certain city streets – Parking restrictions.

(1) No parking at any time along the following streets:

(a) Either side of Second Street;

(b) Either side of Davis Street;

(c) Either side of Cammack Street;

(d) Either side of Stoneridge Street;

(e) On the east side of Golden Delicious Street, Red Delicious Street and Burkey Street;

(f) Either side of Pine Meadows Road;

(g) Either side of Dunn Street to north end of pavement;

(h) Either side of Hedding Street.

10.30.020 Cars parked for more than 24 hours.

(1) It shall be unlawful for any operative vehicle or recreational vehicle such as water sports, camper or trailers to remain on any street or alley within the city limits of Entiat for more than 24 hours in the same location. This provision is established to facilitate snow removal and street sweeping by the public works department and/or contracted agencies.

(2) It shall be unlawful for any vehicle which has been stalled, disabled or unable to move under its own power to remain on any street or alley within the city limits of Entiat for more than 24 hours.

(3) The law enforcement agency of the city shall notify the registered owner, operator or other person having control of said vehicle to remove the same within six hours of notification for subsections (1) and (2) of this section. (Ord. 645 § 1, 2006; Ord. 155 § 2, 1972)

10.30.030 Vehicle removal and impoundment – Charges – Lien.

In addition to the other penalties provided herein, the contracted law enforcement agency of the city is hereby authorized and empowered to remove and impound any such vehicle which is found to be in violation of any of the provisions of this chapter, either by governmental or private equipment. Any such vehicle shall be placed in storage, either public or private, as may be designated by the city’s law enforcement agency. All charges for removing, impounding and storing of such vehicle shall be paid by the registered owner, operator or other person having control of said vehicle before said person may take possession thereof. All such charges shall be a lien against said vehicle. (Ord. 645 § 1, 2006; Ord. 155 § 3, 1972)

10.30.040 Parking restrictions on certain portions of Entiat Way.

(1) No parking anytime on the east side of Entiat Way, south of Hagen Street, and continuing through the westerly curve in Entiat Way, at where it becomes the south side of Entiat Way, to the intersection of Entiat Way and the Entiat River Road.

(2) No parking during sports events on the north side of Entiat Way, from the southwest corner of the school, at the south driveway to the school property, running west to Dunn Street. (Ord. 645 § 1, 2006; Ord. 621, 2004; Ord. 499 § 1, 1996; Ord. 497 §§ 2, 3, 1996; Ord. 464 § 2, 1994)

10.30.050 Second Street – Traffic flow.

Second Street is hereby declared a one-way street in the southbound direction from Davis Street to Hagen Street. (Ord. 645 § 1, 2006; Ord. 502 § 2, 1996)

10.30.060 Violation – Penalty.

Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of an infraction and punished by a fine in the amount of $20.00 for the first offense, $30.00 for the second offense, and up to $50.00 for the third or subsequent offense.
