5.04.010 Definitions.

“Home occupation” includes any business conducted from premises in any residential zone in the city, and as further defined in Chapter 19.36 EMC as it now reads or is hereinafter amended. “Home occupation” means a business conducted in a residential dwelling unit that is incidental and subordinate to the primary residential use and carried on by a resident of the premises, provided the conditions of Chapter 19.36 EMC are satisfied. (Ord. 2415 § 1, 2009; Ord. 1798 § 3, 1993).

5.04.020 Applicability.

Chapter 19.36 EMC pertaining to home occupations, as it now reads or is hereinafter amended, shall apply to this special license; and general business license provisions (Chapter 5.02 EMC) shall apply to this special license, in addition to provisions listed in this chapter. (Ord. 2415 § 1, 2009; Ord. 1798 § 3, 1993).

5.04.030 License required.

This is a special license and is issued in lieu of a general business license; however, additional special licenses as required may apply. (Ord. 1798 § 3, 1993).

5.04.040 Fee and term.

The fee for a home occupation license shall be as designated by the city’s fee resolution as it now reads or is hereinafter amended. (Ord. 1798 § 3, 1993).
