PLANNING AND BUILDING DIRECTOR

2.18.010 Established.
The planning and building director position is hereby established and shall be appointed by the city manager. (Ord. 1389 § 10, 2005; Ord. 523 § 1, 1965).
2.18.020 Appointment.
Repealed by Ord. 1389. (Ord. 523 § 2, 1965).
2.18.030 Duties.
The city planning and building director performs a variety of administrative and technical work in the current and long-range planning programs of the city related to the development and implementation of land use and related municipal plans and policies; oversees code interpretation and plan review to ensure that building and zoning codes and standards are met; and performs all duties and exercises all powers pertaining to such office as provided by law and ordinances of the city. 2.18.040 Compensation.
Repealed by Ord. 1389. (Ord. 523 § 4, 1965).
