2.06.010 Compensation.
A. Salary for members of the town council shall be fixed by ordinance and payable in equal monthly installments. Provided, however, that nothing herein shall cause an increase or decrease to the compensation of any member of the council after election or during the term of office or any unexpired term of office to which a member may be appointed or elected.
B. Effective January 2024, and continuing each January thereafter, the members of the town council elected on or after November 2023 shall receive a cost-of-living adjustment in an amount that equals the cost-of-living adjustment provided to employees.
C. Salary for the mayor shall be fixed by ordinance and payable in equal monthly installments.
D. Effective January 2024, and continuing each January thereafter, the mayor shall receive a cost-of-living adjustment in an amount that equals the cost-of-living adjustment provided to employees. (Ord. 1770 § 1, 2023)
