SWINE

6.08.010 Prohibited acts.
On or after January 1, 1912, no person, persons or residents of the town shall keep, raise or maintain any species of swine in or on any property within the limits of the town; provided, that nothing in this chapter shall prohibit the keeping, raising and maintaining of one or two swine for family use by any person, persons or residents. 6.08.020 Person defined.
The word “person” as used in this chapter shall be construed to include persons, copartnerships and corporations. (Ord. 59 § 2, 1911)
6.08.030 Violation – Penalty.
Any person violating the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and may be punished by a fine not to exceed the sum of $25.00, and costs, and upon default in the payment thereof may be confined in jail until such fine and costs shall have been paid. (Ord. 59 § 3, 1911)
