CITY ATTORNEY

2.16.030 Appointment by mayor.
2.16.010 Appointive office.
Pursuant to Chapter 365, Laws of 1955 (RCW 25.24.020), the office of city attorney is an appointive office of the city. (1964 code § 1.36.010).
2.16.020 Term of office.
The term of the appointive office shall be concurrent with that of the mayor. (1964 code § 1.36.020).
2.16.030 Appointment by mayor.
The mayor shall appoint the attorney, subject to the approval of a majority vote of the city council. (1964 code § 1.36.030).
