PAYROLL FUND

3.32.010 Created.
Pursuant to RCW 35.21.085, there is created a payroll fund. (1964 code § 1.40.070).
3.32.020 Source of moneys.
The clerk and treasurer are authorized and directed to place in the payroll fund such funds from budgeted, available funds of the various departments upon which warrants are issued and cashed for the purpose of paying any moneys due city employees for salaries and wages. The account shall be so kept that they show the department or departments and amounts to which the payment is properly chargeable. (1964 code § 1.40.071).
3.32.030 Operation approval.
The council confirms and approves acts of the clerk and treasurer in the establishment and operation of the payroll fund pursuant to RCW 35.21.085. (1964 code § 1.40.072).
