The purpose of this chapter is to regulate and ensure the legal conduct of businesses; assist in the effective administration of health, fire, building, zoning, and other codes of the City; to impose fees for revenue purposes; and to provide a means for obtaining public information and compiling statistical information on existing and new businesses in the City.
