Any person who obtains a City business license and thereafter ceases to engage in business shall so notify the City in writing. A business shall be presumed to continue in operation within the City until the City receives such notice of termination of business activities and enforcement proceedings may be conducted on the basis of this presumption. There shall be no pro rata refund of the basic license fee. (Ord. 2972 § 1 (Exh. A), 2022).
