2.10.010 Vacation.

Retroactive and effective January 1, 1973, each regularly appointed deputy and county employee on a monthly basis who has held such position or employment within the county for a period of more than seven years continuously, shall hereafter be entitled to vacation of 15 working days; for a period of more than 15 years continuously, shall hereafter be entitled to vacation of 20 working days, it being the intent and purpose of this section to create an additional five-day vacation privilege to a seven- and 15-year continuous employment period. 2.10.020 Sick leave.

Retroactive and effective as of January 1, 1974, every regularly appointed deputy and each county employee employed on a monthly basis, shall be entitled to sick leave, with pay, of one day per month, provided such leave shall be entitled to accumulate, but such accumulation shall not exceed a maximum of 240 days. Accumulated sick leave shall be paid back at the rate of 15 percent, when a deputy or county employee retires or is disabled. [Ord. 1-74; Ord. C-382 § 2, 1958]

2.10.030 Hourly employees.

Each county employee employed on an hourly or per diem basis, who shall have worked 1,500 hours or more in any one year, prior to January 1, 1958, or thereafter, shall be entitled to the same vacation and sick leave as herein provided for deputies and county employees employed on a monthly basis.
