21.46.010 International Existing Building Code adopted.
The 2021 International Existing Building Code (IEBC) is included in the adoption of the International Building Code as provided by IBC Section 101.4.7 and amended in WAC 51-50-480000, including Appendix A, Guidelines for the Seismic Retrofit of Existing Buildings, excluding Chapter 1, Part 2—Administration. Provided, the Washington State Energy Code and the International Wildland-Urban Interface Code shall be regulated by their respective provisions for existing buildings. Provided, that work regulated by this code is also regulated by the construction requirements for existing buildings within Chapter 11 of the International Fire Code, and such work shall comply with applicable requirements in both codes. The city shall at all times keep on file with the city clerk, for reference by the general public, not less than one copy of the International Existing Building Code. (Ord. 4751 § 46, 2021)
