CONSERVATION FUTURES TAX

4.70.010 Tax to be levied – Amount.

A.    A property tax, to be called a “conservation futures tax,” is levied in an amount of six and one-quarter cents per thousand dollars of assessed valuation against the assessed valuation of all taxable property within Kitsap County; and

B.    The conservation futures taxes collected as a result of the ordinance codified in this chapter shall be used for acquiring conservation futures as well as other rights and interests in real property as described in RCW 84.34.210 and 84.34.220.
