COMMUNITY EVENT FINANCIAL SUPPORT POLICY

3.30.020 Requests for funding.
3.30.010 Eligibility.
The following criteria shall be used to determine eligibility for financial support from the city:
(1) Service must be directly related to or otherwise benefit the general health, safety and welfare of the city of La Center residents.
(2) The majority of the service population should be composed of city of La Center residents.
(3) Service must not be duplicating a service already provided by the city.
(4) Service must have measurable product and results that directly benefit the city of La Center residents.
(5) Funding from the city should not be the sole source of the total costs of the specific event. [Res. 2006-268, 2006.]
3.30.020 Requests for funding.
All requests for funding shall be presented in written form to the city’s finance director for the upcoming year no later than October 31st of the preceding year. Any applications for funding received after the October 31st deadline will be considered for the year after the upcoming year. [Res. 2006-268, 2006.]
