5.35.010 Security required.

The promoters of any special event, carnival, dance, athletic contest, gambling tournament, or any other similar occurrence shall provide security for that event. Said security measures shall be approved by the chief of police or his/his designee at least 14 days before the event may start. If such an event should be started without first having obtained approval of security measures, the chief of police or his/her designee shall order the promoter or person in charge of the event to cease operation immediately.
