PUBLIC WORKS VEHICLE/EQUIPMENT RESERVE FUND

3.62.040 Expenditures – Purpose.
3.62.010 Established.
There is established a separate fund within the city to be known as the “public works vehicle/equipment reserve fund no. 406.” The purpose of this fund shall be as stated in Section 3.62.040. (Ord. 964 § 1, 2011)
3.62.020 Transfer of funds.
The city clerk-treasurer is ordered and directed to transfer all moneys held in the city’s municipal capital reserve fund no. 303 from the street, water, sewer and stormwater funds that are reserved for the purchase and major repair of vehicles and equipment into the public works vehicle/equipment reserve fund no. 406 established by the ordinance codified in this chapter. 3.62.030 Deposit of funds.
Thenceforth, all transfers from the street, water, sewer and stormwater funds meant for vehicles and equipment which are consistent with the purpose of this fund shall be placed in this special fund. (Ord. 964 § 1, 2011)
3.62.040 Expenditures – Purpose.
Expenditures from the fund shall be made only for the purpose of purchasing or doing major repairs of vehicles and equipment for the public works department. (Ord. 964 § 1, 2011)
