ENVIRONMENTALLY PREFERABLE PURCHASING AND PRODUCT UTILIZATION

City departments shall, to the greatest extent feasible and practicable and in a manner that balances fiscal and environmental stewardship, procure and utilize environmentally preferable materials, products, and services (including construction services) in accordance with the compost procurement requirements of RCW 43.19A.150. 3.83.020 Reporting.
To the extent reports are required to the county or applicable state agencies concerning HB 1799, staff is authorized and directed to timely make such reports. [Ord. 1668 § 1, 2023.]
