LOCAL TRAFFIC REGULATIONS

10.05.010 Definitions.
“Truck” means any vehicle exceeding a gross vehicle weight rating of five tons. [Ord. 1334 § 1, 2009.]
10.05.020 Trucks prohibited on restricted streets.
Trucks are prohibited on Ninth Street between State Highway SR2 and Commercial Street. [Ord. 1334 § 1, 2009.]
10.05.025 Exceptions.
The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to:
A. Passenger buses and trolleys under the jurisdiction of a local public transit agency.
B. Any vehicle owned or operated by the city, or used for the removal of refuse under contract with the city.
C. A public utility while necessarily in use in the construction, installation and/or repair of any facility.
D. Any authorized emergency vehicle.
E. Any Cascade School District school bus. [Ord. 1334 § 1, 2009.]
10.05.090 Violation – Penalty.
Any person who owns, operates or controls a vehicle which is found to be in violation of any of the provisions of this chapter is guilty of a civil infraction and shall pay a monetary penalty in the maximum amount authorized by Chapter 7.80 RCW. [Ord. 1334 § 1, 2009.]
