13.81.010 Charges enumerated.

The charges that each property owner shall pay to the city for sanitary sewer service shall include a system buy-in charge, a charge to cover the cost in labor, equipment and materials to install and connect the tap. [Ord. 1449 § 1 (Exh. A), 2013; Ord. 1076 § 1, 1998. Formerly 13.82.010.]

13.81.040 Installation and inspection.

The customer shall be responsible for installation of the sanitary sewer service line from the property boundary to the city main. This work shall be done by a licensed contractor, subject to city inspection, and shall include installation of the line, street cutting, backfill, compaction, ballast and traffic control. 13.81.050 Sanitary sewer service connections.

A. Effective January 1, 1999, sanitary sewer service connection charges shall be set forth by resolution of the city council from time to time and such charges shall be on file at the office of the city clerk-treasurer.

B. Sanitary sewer work authorized to be done by a contractor shall be inspected by the city prior to acceptance. The charge for inspection of such work shall be cost plus 10 percent. [Ord. 1449 § 1 (Exh. A), 2013; Ord. 1106 § 1, 1998; Ord. 1076 §§ 5, 6, 1998. Formerly 13.82.050.]
