REGIONAL WATER FUND

3.22.010 Created.
There is created and established in the office of the city treasurer a special fund to be designated as the “regional water fund.” This fund shall be used for the payment of all claims for the production of potable water, including labor and materials, in the operation of the regional water treatment plant as provided for in the intergovernmental agreement between the city of Longview and public utility district No. 1 of Cowlitz County, Washington (Agreement No. WS-130). (Ord. 2028 § 1, 1981).
3.22.020 Administration.
The regional water fund created in this chapter shall be administered by the director of field services and the water department. The city shall keep such books, accounts and records as are necessary to control and report the financial operation of the regional water fund. (Ord. 2028 § 1, 1981).
3.22.030 Expenditures.
Expenditures from such regional water fund shall be made by check or warrant for the aforesaid purposes, as provided in the city’s annual budget. (Ord. 2028 § 1, 1981).
