ARTERIAL STREETS*

11.36.010 Stopping on entering arterial highways.

The operator of any vehicle entering upon any arterial highway shall come to a complete stop before entering such arterial highway. (Ord. 1517 § 31-35, 1971).

11.36.020 Stop when traffic obstructed.

No driver shall enter an intersection or a marked crosswalk unless there is sufficient space on the other side of the intersection or crosswalk to accommodate the vehicle he is operating without obstructing the passage of other vehicles or pedestrians, notwithstanding any traffic-control signal indication to proceed.
