19.03.010 Adoption of new comprehensive plan – 2019.
All public hearings required by law pertaining to the same, having been duly held, the city council adopts that certain Longview comprehensive plan entitled Longview Comprehensive Plan, October 2019, as and for the new comprehensive plan of the city, including any and all maps which are a part thereof. One copy of the comprehensive plan, with maps which form a part thereof, is on file and shall remain on file in the office of the city clerk, and a copy thereof, with maps which form a part thereof, is also on file in the office of the director of community development of the city. 19.03.020 Future amendments – 2019 comprehensive plan – Plan limitation.
Pursuant to RCW 35A.63.072, the city council shall, within 60 days after receiving the recommendation of the planning commission as to any future amendment or amendments to the comprehensive plan, vote to approve or disapprove or to modify and approve, as modified, such amendment or amendments, or to refer the same back to the planning commission for further proceedings specifying the time within which the planning commission shall report back to the city council its findings and recommendations on the matters referred to it. Those parcel numbers commonly known as 475 29th Ave and 236 30th Ave in the city of Longview, Washington.

19.03.021.27 Second amendment to 2019 comprehensive plan.
The following described properties lying within the present corporate limits of said city are hereby removed from the area classified as low density residential and transferred to the area classified as public/quasi-public/institutional in the comprehensive plan for the development of land and building uses with the city:
Those properties commonly known as 828, 840, 846 18th Avenue and 1751 Delaware Street in the city of Longview, Washington.
Parcel numbers 01187, 01188, 01189, and 01190.

The department of community development for the city shall cause to be prepared a new land use map reflecting the changes set out in LMC 19.03.021.26, such map to be designated as “Revised Land Use Map No. 1 – 2019 Comprehensive Plan,” and shall file a copy thereof in the office of the city clerk where the same shall be available for public inspection as required by RCW 35A.63.072. The revised map is made a part of the city’s comprehensive plan, replacing and superseding the land use map filed in accordance with LMC 19.03.010. (Ord. 3427 § 3, 2020).
19.03.022.27 Second revised land use map – 2019 comprehensive plan – Preparation and filing.
The department of community development for the city shall cause to be prepared a new land use map reflecting the changes set out in LMC 19.03.021.27, such map to be designated as “Revised Land Use Map No. 2 – 2019 Comprehensive Plan,” and shall file a copy thereof in the office of the city clerk where the same shall be available for public inspection as required by RCW 35A.63.072. The revised map is made a part of the city’s comprehensive plan, replacing and superseding the land use map filed in accordance with LMC 19.03.010. (Ord. 3444 § 3, 2021).
19.03.022.28 Third revised land use map – 2019 comprehensive plan – Preparation and filing.
The department of community development for the city shall cause to be prepared a new land use map reflecting the changes set out in LMC 19.03.021.28, such map to be designated as “Revised Land Use Map No. 1 – 2019 Comprehensive Plan” and shall file a copy thereof in the office of the city clerk where the same shall be available for public inspection as required by RCW 35A.63.072. The revised map is made a part of the city’s comprehensive plan, replacing and superseding the land use map filed in accordance with LMC 19.03.010. (Ord. 3502 § 3, 2023).
19.03.030 Planning commission – Comprehensive plan – 2019 – Reference.
By LMC 2.27.050, the powers and duties of the planning commission, including those relating to a comprehensive plan, as provided by state law, are set forth or referenced and should be read and construed in conjunction with this chapter.
