POLICE INVESTIGATION FUND

3.94.010 Established.

There is hereby created in the city treasury a special account designated the “police department investigation account” for the payment of incidental expenditures incurred by the police department. (Ord. 1734 § 1, 1989; Ord. 1593 § 1, 1987)

3.94.020 Fund transfer.

The sum of $8,000 is hereby established in the general fund as the “police department investigation account” for the purposes authorized in LMC 3.94.010 and the city clerk is authorized to issue additional checks from time to time to said account to reimburse the account for actual expenses incurred as contemplated herein. 3.94.030 Expenditure accounting.

The checks for reimbursement of this account will be recorded as expenditures against the police department line item Budget Number 4217 – Police Investigation Cost. (Ord. 1593 § 3, 1987)

3.94.040 Custodian designated.

The chief of police shall be responsible for the administration of such account and checks will be issued by the finance officer based upon vouchers documenting disbursements as approved by the chief of police and mayor. (Ord. 1734 § 1, 1989)
