3.96.010 Established.

There is hereby established in the city of Lynnwood a petty cash fund. The purpose of the fund is to provide working cash and to pay authorized petty cash expenditures. (Ord. 1595 § 1, 1987)

3.96.020 Fund transfer.

Funds are established in the city of Lynnwood by transfer of treasurer’s funds by check in the sum of $5,000 to the custodian designated and the total amount of such fund so established shall be shown separately in the city’s statement of current assets. 3.96.030 Custodian designated.

The city of Lynnwood finance officer is designated and appointed as a custodian of said fund. The finance officer shall delegate accountability for allocation of the fund to those personnel and departments determined to be authorized to collect cash or make petty cash expenditures. 3.96.040 Fund administration.

Administration of said fund shall be subject to and in accordance with all the restrictions, limitations, requirements, and other provisions of Chapter 42.24 RCW and accounting procedures as required by the Division of Municipal Corporations of the Office of the Washington State Auditor. (Ord. 1595 § 4, 1987)

3.96.100 Severability.

If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or word of this chapter should be held to be invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity or unconstitutionality thereof shall not affect the validity or constitutionality of any other section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or word of this chapter.
