Notice of Infraction and Penalties

On and after the effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter, it is unlawful for any person to willfully fail to respond as directed by citation or notice of infraction, or to respond to a notice of traffic infraction in the Montesano municipal court after having in writing promised to so respond therein; provided, that a person may appear in person or by written appearance of counsel. (Ord. 1240 §1, 1986).
1.12.020 Failure to pay penalty.
On and after the effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter, it is unlawful for any person to wilfully fail to pay a fine, infraction penalty, or other costs imposed by the court as a result of the violation of an ordinance of the city. (Ord. 1240 §2, 1986).
1.12.030 Violation--Penalty.
Any person found to have violated the provisions of either Sections 1.12.010 or 1.12.020 of this chapter shall be punished as provided in Section 1.08.010 of the Montesano Municipal Code. (Ord. 1240 §3, 1986).
1.12.040 Penalty for failure to respond to notice.
Pursuant to the authority granted in RCW 46.63.110(3), any person who fails to respond to a notice of parking infraction issued by the city shall pay a monetary penalty of fifteen dollars in addition to any other penalty which may be imposed.
