There is created and established a fund, to be known as the "city street fund," from which all expenditures for the construction, alteration, repair, improvement and maintenance of the city streets shall be made and all warrants hereafter issued for those purposes shall be issued upon the funds. (Ord. 611 §1, 1937).
2.48.020 Deposit and budgeting.
All moneys now budgeted for street purposes and provided for in the current expense fund, and all moneys now on hand in the secondary highway fund or hereafter provided, shall be set aside and deposited in the city street fund by the officers of the city having control of the funds, and all future funds properly budgeted for the construction, alteration, repair, improvement and maintenance of city streets in the city, together with all other funds provided for such purposes shall be deposited in the city street fund. (Ord. 611 §2, 1937).
