15.24.010 Definitions.

For the purpose of this chapter the words "trailer" and "trailer coaches" mean any camp car, trailer, vehicle or structure, with or without motor power, and designed or used for human habitation and for carrying persons or property therein. (Ord. 734 §1, 1955).

15.24.020 Parking.1

It is unlawful to park or stand any trailer or trailer coach or use or occupy the same on any tract of ground except as may be provided or permitted by the city council or its authorized agent; and no trailer or trailer coach shall be parked on any street, alley, highway or other public place for a period exceeding twenty-four hours; provided that a trailer or trailer coach may be parked, used or occupied on the premises of any occupied dwelling with the permission of the lawful occupant for a period not to exceed fifteen days, and provided that the occupancy does not create a public health hazard or nuisance. Provided, further, that the provisions of this chapter shall not provide for unoccupied trailers in sales lots or public and private garages. (Ord. 734 §2; August 9, 1955).

15.24.030 Removal of tires or wheels.

It shall be unlawful to remove the tires or wheels from any trailer or trailer coach except for temporary purposes, repair or storage, or to use or occupy a trailer coach from which the tires or wheels have been so removed. (Ord. 734 §3; August 9, 1955).

15.24.040 Penalty for violation.

Anyone violating or failing to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by fine not exceeding one hundred dollars or imprisonment in jail not exceeding thirty days, and each day that anyone shall continue to violate or fail to comply with this chapter shall be considered a separate offense.
