2.10.010 Established—Supervision—Appointment.

Pursuant to RCW 35A.12.020, there is hereby established the office of city clerk. The city clerk shall act under the supervision of the mayor through the city administrator. The city clerk shall be appointed by the mayor, subject to confirmation by the city council according to the confirmation process established by council resolution. (Ord. 1164 § 1 (part), 2007)

2.10.020 Duties.

The city clerk shall perform all of the duties of the city clerk as prescribed by state statutes and city ordinances. In the absence of the city clerk, the city administrator or his designee shall perform the duties of the city clerk. (Ord. 1192 § 1, 2008: Ord. 1164 § 1 (part), 2007)
