2.10.010 Oath required.
Before entering upon the performance of the duties of office, each city council member, the mayor, the deputy mayor, and the city manager shall take an oath or affirmation, as set forth in this section, for the faithful performance of his or her duties. The city clerk shall file the signed oath or affirmation with the King County recorder’s office.
