BONDING/INSURING OF CITY OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES

2.33.010 Purpose.
The purpose of this chapter is to authorize the blanket bonding/insuring of all city officials and employees as authorized in RCW 35A.12.080 and 35A.42.020. (Ord. 2046 § 2, 2018)
2.33.020 Bonding/insurance.
The city clerk/treasurer is authorized and directed to obtain a blanket bond/insurance policy which must be approved by the mayor covering the faithful performance of all city officials and employees in the amount of $1,000,000. The city of Newport is to be named as the beneficiary and the city will pay all required premiums. (Ord. 2046 § 2, 2018)
