5.24.010 Hours.

It is unlawful for any owner or operator of any premises wherein liquor (alcohol, spirits, wine or beer) is sold or offered for sale for consumption on or off the premises to sell or offer the same for sale or for removal from the premises in any manner whatever between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., except on New Year’s Day when the hour of closing shall not be later than 3:00 a.m. (Ord. 535 § 1, 1976; Ord. 465 § 1, 1970; Ord. 429 § 1, 1967; Ord. 384 § 1, 1961; Ord. 360 § 1, 1958)

5.24.020 Penalty for violation.

Every individual, partner, partnership, corporation and all other persons violating the provisions of this chapter shall be punishable upon conviction thereof by a fine of not more than $100.00, or by imprisonment in the city jail for a period of not more than 30 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
