15.20.010 Applicability of state statute.

Solid waste collection services and disposal services as defined in OHMC Title 15 are the same as garbage collection and disposal services as described under RCW 35.21.140 and 35.21.150 which provide for lien garbage collection services. (Ord. 809 § 1, 1988).

15.20.020 Authorization to use lien collection procedures.

The city finance director may use such methods for collection of unpaid solid waste collection and disposal services as are reasonable and authorized by law, including filing and foreclosing liens as authorized under RCW 35.21.140 and 35.21.150 as now in effect or hereafter amended. (Ord. 809 § 2, 1988).

15.20.030 Notice of lien.

A notice of the city’s lien for solid waste collection and disposal service shall specify the charges, the period covered by the charges, and giving the legal description of the premises sought to be charged. The notice shall be filed with the county auditor within the time required and shall be foreclosed in the manner and within the time prescribed for liens for labor and material. (Ord. 809 § 3, 1988).
