7.05.050  Impersonating an officer.

A. A person is guilty of impersonating an officer if he falsely represents himself to be an officer of a public law enforcement agency or a member of a public fire department or a public fire prevention agency for the purpose of annoying, harassing, or threatening another, or for the purpose of inducing another to take some action or to refrain from taking some action.

B. Impersonating an officer is a Class B offense.
