NUCLEAR FREE ZONE

1.36.010 Declared.
The county shall be and is declared a nuclear free zone. It is declared to be contrary to the policy of Okanogan County for nuclear weapons, nuclear power plants or nuclear waste repositories to be positioned, tested or located within its boundaries. (Res. 9-88, 1988).
