DEPUTY CITY TREASURER

2.08.020 Delegation of duties.
2.08.010 Appointed.
The Othello city treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to appoint and engage a qualified assistant with the Title of deputy Othello city treasurer who is authorized to perform the duties of the Othello city treasurer in her absence or at such times as she is otherwise occupied, and who will be accountable to the Othello city treasurer. (Ord. 553 § 1, 1977).
2.08.020 Delegation of duties.
The city treasurer shall continue to be responsible for the activities of her office and the accounting for municipal funds, but may delegate her duties or part thereof to the deputy city treasurer. (Ord. 553 § 2, 1977).
2.08.030 Bond.
The deputy city treasurer shall file with the city clerk her public official bond indemnifying the city against any loss of funds, in the penal sum of ten thousand dollars. (Ord. 553 § 3, 1977).
