3.48.020    Withdrawal of Grievance.

3.48.010 Policy.

The County recognizes the importance and desirability of settling grievances of Career Service employees promptly and fairly in the interest of continued good employee relations and morale. To accomplish this, efforts will be made to settle grievances at the lowest possible level of supervision. Employees shall be unimpeded and free from restraint, interference, coercion, discrimination or reprisal in seeking administrative review of their grievances pursuant to the procedures set forth in the Administrative Guidelines or collective agreements. 3.48.020 Withdrawal of Grievance.

The Personnel Board may deem a grievance withdrawn in the event the appellant fails to timely comply with a Personnel Board rule pertaining to deadlines, hearings, or disclosure of witnesses or exhibits. (Ord. 2011-28 § 1 (part), 2011)
