ANIMAL BURIAL

7.12.010 Generally.
Any person being the owner of any animal, that shall hereafter die within the city limits who shall permit the carcass thereof to remain unburied for two days after the death thereof or who shall deposit the carcass thereof or cause or permit the same to be deposited upon the garbage grounds of the city or elsewhere within the city limits without burying it to the depth of at least three feet underground so that every part thereof shall be entirely covered with three feet of dirt, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction thereof shall be fined not less than $10.00 nor more than $100.00 for each offense.
