10.16.010 Inattentive driving.

It is unlawful for any person to operate a motor vehicle within the city in an inattentive manner. For the purposes of this section, “inattentive manner” means the operation of a motor vehicle in a manner which evidences a lack of the degree of attentiveness required to safely operate the vehicle under the prevailing conditions of the roadway, presence of other traffic, presence of pedestrians and weather conditions. The offense of operating a motor vehicle in an inattentive manner shall be considered to be a lesser offense than, but included in, the offense of operating a motor vehicle in a negligent manner. 10.16.020 Penalty for inattentive driving.

Violation of any of the provisions of this chapter constitutes an infraction subject to the penalty provided in the applicable bail schedule adopted by the Poulsbo municipal court. (Ord. 84-52 § 1 (part), 1984)

10.16.030 State traffic statute adopted by reference.

The following state traffic statutes are adopted as part of this code as if set forth in full:

A.    RCW 46.61.688, Safety belts, use required—Penalties—Exemptions.

10.16.040 One-way streets.

No person shall operate a motor vehicle or bicycle except in the direction indicated below upon the following streets:
