1.20.020 Measurement of elevations—Sidewalk slopes.

1.20.010 Location of benchmark.

The base of the city of Prosser shall be thirty inches below the United States geological benchmark situated on the Northern Pacific Railway right-of-way near the corner of Sixth Street and Stacy Avenue in the city. (Ord. 62 § 1, 1905).

1.20.020 Measurement of elevations— Sidewalk slopes.

All official elevations of streets and alleys in the city shall be at the property line, above said base, with sidewalk slopes of one fourth of an inch to the foot. (Ord. 62 § 2, 1905).

1.20.030 Grades to be straight lines.

All grades of streets in the city shall be straight lines between official elevations. (Ord. 62 § 3, 1905).

1.20.040 Street elevations designated.

The elevations in feet of streets and avenues of the city shall be:

A. Sixth Street and Bennett Avenue, 659.74;

B. Fifth Street and Bennett Avenue, 658.77;

C. Sixth Street and Meade Avenue, 660.56;

D. Fifth Street and Meade Avenue, 659.39;

E. Market Street and First Avenue, 659.38;

F. Market Street and Second Avenue, 659.96;

G. Market Street and Third Avenue, 662.26;

H. Third Avenue and Court Street, 662.70;

I. Third Avenue and River Street, 661.20;

J. Main Street and Third Avenue, 664.36;

K. Main Street and Second Avenue, 662.40;

L. Main Street and First Avenue, 660.55;
