NONLIABILITY OF CITY OFFICERS AND AGENTS

1.26.020 Nonapplicability to other liabilities.
1.26.010 Declaration.
The city or any officer, agent, or employee thereof shall not incur or be held as assuming any liability by reason or in consequence of any permission, certificate of inspection, inspection, approval, permit, or license, or any other thing done or acts performed, issued, given, or made pursuant to any ordinance of the city heretofore or hereafter enacted. (Ord. 1033 § 1, 1977).
1.26.020 Nonapplicability to other liabilities.
Nothing contained in this chapter will be construed to relieve from or lessen the responsibility or liability of any person for injury or damage to person or property, or for loss, or for any other claim whatsoever for which any person may otherwise be liable. (Ord. 1033 § 2, 1977).
