The International Residential Code, 2021 Edition together with Appendices F, Q, and U, and excluding Chapters 11 and 25 through 43, published by the International Code Council, and as amended by the Washington State Building Code Council in Chapter 51-51 WAC as the same exists now or may hereafter be amended, and as further amended in this chapter, is hereby adopted as the residential building code for the City, with "City of Quincy" inserted at Section 101.1. 15.06.020 Scope.
The provisions of the International Residential Code shall regulate and govern the construction, alteration, movement, enlargement, replacement, repair, equipment, location, removal and demolition of detached one and two family dwellings and multiple single family dwellings (townhouses) not more than three stories in height with separate means of egress as herein provided, and shall provide for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefore. 15.06.030 Sections amended.
The following sections of the International Residential Code, 2012 Edition, shall be amended as follows:
1. Section 101.1: Insert "City of Quincy";
2. Section 2603: Insert "30 inches" and "30 inches"; and
